I couldn't get through on the phone to book appointment so had to go to shop directly. Very inconvenient as I rarely go to town.

Staff blatantly attempted to pressure me into buying new frames that I did not need. Staff claimed that all three of my own pairs of frames that I brought in were unsuitable to be fitted with varifocals and insisted that I buy a new pair. I have since been into several other opticians, all of whom said that all the pairs of glasses I have are suitable for varifocals. I only went back to Boots because I forgot that the last time I went there they lied about the prices of services at Spevsavers - claiming they were much higher than is the case - to pressure me into buying st Boots. This kind of dishonest hard selling is dreadful service. I will not be going back to Boots opticians!
